With the sun on my face I write you this piece

Thinking of the things that make my mind race

With thoughts of you and the things you do,

like when you sing in your car, how it put a smile on my face

How i never told you how beautiful I thought that voice of yours is

how scared I was to really let you in

And when that song came on

About not knowing someone anymore,

How I wished to god, that wouldnt end up our case.

And when I laid my head on your chest,

i could feel you breathe in and out

loving every second that i was in your presence

But now Im in a place, where i dont have that pleasure

where everytime i go out, I see things that remind me of you

like that necklace I saw, that i knew youd love.

I think about what you said, how i didnt show you i liked you

and this is the best way I know how

To write you a love poem about all the things i never told you.

All the things I kept inside, away from you to keep me safe,

and now i see that was my mistake.
